Interactive Augmented Reality Robotics Platform


To develop a robotic platform which enables game development of a Augmented Reality first person view of robot.


The platform comprises localization, simulation-based computer-generated force (CGF), game engine, wireless network and data streaming. Base on this platform we shall then develop an AR game that the gamer controls a robot as a first-person game and 3D interactive visualization setup in which the live video from the robot is injected with virtual objects. To achieve the stability and realism of real-time augmented objects on the 3D outdoor terrain, visual localization module is responsible for the 6DoF pose estimation.
